Hi, my name is Olly. I am a qualified holistic counsellor in Tring and offer a holistic, person-centred approach, to support your emotional, mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing, helping you find balance, healing and self-understanding.

Personal Touch

I am particularly interested in the spiritual dimension of life. Through analysing my own dreams, I learnt that a major part of my life purpose is to be a counsellor and healer - to help people with an open and compassionate heart so they can find their way forward in life.

Client Focus

I help adults and young adults (16+), people facing work stress, anxiety & self-esteem issues, emotional overwhelm, and those dealing with past trauma. I also help with life transitions and spiritual development.

Background

After 20+ years of maths and science teaching, I graduated in 2022 from the Holistic Healing College, London, with a Diploma in Holistic Counselling.

Therapy Approach

My work is to help people to resolve and integrate 'out of date' and unhelpful subconscious 'programmes' that negatively impact their present day life. These limiting beliefs were formed a long time ago, usually as protective measures in childhood. I work on a one-to-one basis, providing a confidential, inclusive and safe space either online, or in-person at our studio in Tring, Hertfordshire (UK). For a 1 hour counselling session, you can choose the price that you feel comfortable with, ranging from £5 up to £60 (GBP). As we work together we will explore your current situation and enable you to process unresolved feelings in a way that promotes positive healing for mind and body. We may also use holistic therapies such as: - Hypnotherapy and visualisation - Somatic (body) energy work - Dream healing therapies - Spiritual healing (direct energy transfer) - Learning practical, everyday strategies to help you feel better

Integrative or Holistic Therapy

Integrative or Holistic Therapy combines practices and theories from various therapeutic approaches to fit the needs of the individual client.

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy combines cognitive behavioral techniques with mindfulness strategies in order to help individuals better understand and manage their thoughts and emotions.

Person-Centered Therapy

Person-Centered Therapy, developed by Carl Rogers, emphasizes a non-directive, empathetic approach that empowers and motivates the client in the therapeutic process.

Psychoanalytic

Psychoanalytic therapy explores the deep-rooted causes of behavior and feelings, uncovering unresolved issues from the past.

Somatic Experiencing

Somatic Experiencing is a form of alternative therapy aimed at relieving the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental and physical trauma-related health problems by focusing on the client’s perceived body sensations (or somatic experiences).

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy encourages individuals to embrace their thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or feeling guilty for them.

Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

Emotion-Focused Therapy is designed to help individuals deal with complex emotions and develop better emotional regulation by understanding the roots of their emotional issues.
